Looking back at our Digital Fair Autumn Winter Edition 2021

The Digital Fair Autumn Winter Edition 2021 took place from September 6 to 12 and it was another great success! We are happy to share the results of the event.

Our mission is to bring independent retailers with brands together to empower local communities. We also do this with the Digital Fair, one of our largest wholesale events that takes place twice a year. During this event, brands can showcase their new collections and retailers can expand their range with unique products at a discount.

We have experienced in recent years that physical fairs are not always possible, but the Digital Fair is a very good alternative for both retailers and brands. Brands participating in the Digital Fair save a lot on their costs because they don't have to travel or pay for their booth at the fair and they also spend less money on marketing, because that is done by Orderhamp! More awareness and visibility is created for the brands and retailers can discover new collections with ease.

Popular brands and products

Many brands of all categories participated in the Digital Fair Autumn Winter Edition 2021, but a few Dutch and German brands stood out with their products. The most popular products were handmade fragrance cubes from ByBazz,the ecological soaps from Marcel's Green Soap, natural skincare products from Naïf, the colorful DIY dye candles from Pink Stories and the sustainable mugs from Eulenschnitt.

New relationships

Thousands of retailers have expanded their range with unique products, of which 75% of all orders came from new relationships. This means that we have been able to connect a lot of retailers and brands with this event.

55% of the orders were also cross-border, bringing together retailers and brands from different countries. Also thanks to the participation of the brand community, the average margin for retailers has increased by 20%!

Popular categories

With the cold winter months approaching and the need for warmth and coziness increasing, the most popular searches were: Christmas, candles, dry flowers, soap, tea and cards. Furthermore, the most popular categories during the Digital Fair were: drinks, candles & home fresheners, kids toys & games, tea, bags and bath & body.
