We spoke to Head of Purchasing & Sales, Sandra Temmink, about the different brands they represent, collections and the success at Orderchamp.

Welcome Sandra! Would you like to introduce yourself briefly? 

''My name is Sandra Temmink and within Decostar I am responsible for internal Purchasing & Sales and recently also the e-commerce department. I have enjoyed working at Decostar for over 8 years now. We are constantly developing in the field of collections, brands, service and switch quickly. For example, we responded directly to the current situation by taking measures in our showroom, so that customers can still buy safely from us. We have expanded our online activities for our international customers.” 

Was this among the reasons you started selling through Orderchamp?

"Most certainly. Via Orderchamp we receive a greater and more diverse reach at home and abroad. Especially now because there are fewer fairs and less travel is possible. In this way we can still meet new customers via an extra platform and show them our collection in a simple way. Orderchamp gives us access to a network of 30,000 international retailers, which is of course a great reach!” 

What do you notice that your retailers especially enjoy about purchasing via Orderchamp?

“The system is easy-to-use, they can view all our brands and buy the products all at the same time. The purchasing process is very simple. ” 

You currently have 5 brands on Orderchamp. 

"Indeed. We sell our collection of home decorations under the brand Countryfield and we are also a distributor of Thomas Kent clocks, a British brand of high-quality clocks that are characterized by clean lines and trendy colors. We recently added a number of fragrance brands to our collection. These are the brands Ashleigh & Burwood, Greenleaf Gifts and Village Candle. These brands offer candles, scented candles, scented burners and scented sticks. They differ enormously in terms of look & feel and thus form a nice addition to our existing range ”.  

From your side, delivery is very fast for all brands, what kind of system do you work with? 

“We have an efficient and reliable logistics system, based on a fully automated order entry system. Deliveries can also be delivered quickly to the customer thanks to this system. ” 

How often do you change the collections? 

“We introduce new collections twice a year; an Autumn / Winter / Christmas collection and Spring / Summer / Easter collection. We also have a basic collection that can be sold all year round. ”
