How J-Line realized an average quarterly growth of 73% using Orderchamp’s B2B sales features

Introduction

Founded in Belgium in 1978 as a family-owned business, Jolipa has grown into a leading wholesaler in the decoration and interior accessories market. Jolipa now exports to over 100 countries, emphasizing high-quality service all while maintaining a family-oriented ethos. Fifteen years ago, they introduced their brand, J-Line, which launches new collections twice a year with the help of trend watchers. Their extensive assortment of 8,000 items includes furniture, decoration, lighting, garden accessories, and more - covering multiple styles like classic, modern, vintage, industrial, Scandinavian, Japandi, etc..

Our retailers were eager to have Jolipa on the Orderchamp marketplace, drawn by the potential to attract more customers by leveraging Jolipa’s well-known brand. So, after being approached at a trade fair by our Sales representatives, Jolipa’s journey on Orderchamp began in 2021 with a soft launch. They quickly followed this up by putting their entire catalog online and “started selling left and right.” By November of 2023, they added Dropshipping by Orderchamp as an extra sales channel, actively promoting Orderchamp as a preferred dropshipping provider to their B2B customers.

 

Activating the partnership

The partnership started with a visit from our team to Jolipa’s warehouse to align on shared goals and KPI’s of the collaboration. To save time and make Orderchamp’s sales channels as profitable as possible, Jolipa requested a system that would natively speak with their existing integration. Given their extensive catalog, they use ChannelEngine to consolidate orders from their different sales channels into their ERP system, which meant that integrating with Orderchamp required some customizations.

Close collaboration between the Jolipa and Orderchamp commercial and tech support teams became the key to this fruitful partnership. While Orderchamp set everything up to seamlessly integrate Jolipa’s catalogs, Jolipa offered feedback on automating the integration and Orderchamp’s backend usability. The team at Orderchamp continued to optimize its features, and Jolipa started selling and actively leveraging Orderchamp’s features to optimize their sales. This included:

  • Making use of Orderchamp’s brand campaigns feature to send bulk messages about exclusive promotions to their retailers and storefront visitors.
  • Going the extra mile to personally onboard new dropshipping partners.
  • Participating in online Orderchamp wholesale events, organized with the goal of boosting sales and connecting with new customers.
  • Personally messaging retailers with open carts to offer incentives.
  • Actively monitoring and acting on their performance through the analytics provided in Orderchamp’s admin, the backoffice.
  • Customizing pricing strategies tailored to the different Orderchamp sales channels (dropshipping and marketplace).

Due to all their efforts, Jolipa achieved Star Seller status on Orderchamp, which is given to outstanding suppliers to give them more visibility. Over time, they continued to grow and started reaching the results they were looking for.

Jolipa has reached a positive ROI and hit their record month in June, during the Warehouse Sale, Orderchamp’s stock clearance event. They have decided to work with Orderchamp for their B2B marketplace sales due to the pleasant partnership, the seamless integration of both direct purchasing and dropshipping, scalability, and the intuitiveness of Orderchamp’s backoffice. This allows them to manage two sales channels within a single platform, while empowering anyone in their team to handle orders, products, and communicate with customers. This close collaboration and automated processes has meant that Jolipa’s team had more time to focus on marketing efforts and growing their Orderchamp storefronts.
